About Meadow Gear Ride
Meadow Gear Ride is an offline cycling simulation game built with SpriteKit. Ride across procedurally generated courses with hills, flats, and descents. The core challenge is shifting between 7 gears at the right time: low gears recover stamina on climbs, high gears sprint on flats and descents, and matched gears keep your cadence efficient.
The game features 50 levels across 5 chapters, each with a different sky and ground palette. Every level has a target distance, a target time, and a stamina budget. Courses get longer and steeper as you progress, and the final chapter adds a rival rider to race against.
A live slope profile at the top of the screen shows upcoming terrain in color-coded segments. A tutorial tip suggests the next gear so new riders can learn the rhythm of shifting.
How to Play
Watch the Slope
The slope label and colored profile show uphill, flat, or downhill terrain ahead.
Shift Gears
Tap "+" to shift up and "-" to shift down. Gears 1-2 climb, 3-5 cruise, 6-7 sprint.
Manage Stamina
High gears drain stamina. Low gears recover it. Match the gear to the slope.
Use High Gears
Spend enough distance in Gear 4-7 to meet the course pace, but not too long on one terrain.
Beat the Clock
Reach the finish before the target time runs out to win the level.
Earn Stars
Finish with high stamina and strong average speed for a 3-star rating.
